Welcome to Front Street Station in Butte, Montana. These railroad buildings were built in 1906 by the Northern Pacific Railroad. The three buildings housed the Passenger Depot, the Beanery Restaurant and the freight and luggage buildings. At the station’s peak, seven trains passed through the railroad yard daily. Amtrak ended the passenger service in 1979 and the buildings remained empty until 2000.

In 2000 a local couple purchased the building and initiated a seven year restoration effort. The venue, Front Street Station, is now on it’s 12th year and has hosted over 600 events since 2007.

The Front Street Station is now a popular venue for weddings, receptions, conferences and fundraisers. We offer vast expertise in event management and planning. Many clients enjoy the freedom our venue offers of planning and implementing all aspects of their events. Others seek assistance from us when making their arrangements. Our staff can provide whatever level of service you desire and work with any budget. We can offer catering recommendations from local Butte restaurants and happily provide any decoration needs in house to make your event memorable and unique.

We look forward to hosting your event.
